What is Project-based learning?
Project-based learning (PBL) prepares our children for interpersonal, intellectual and physical success throughout their learning process, and enables concept-learning to understand the world appropriately.
We conduct project-based learning every third term of the academic calendar over an extent of ten (10) weeks. As our educators conduct observations as part of our progress tracking, we capture each stage of the project the children get involved in and showcase them at the end of the term. The projects are child-led with the practitioners’ guidance throughout the process.
We have found a positive outcomes in children’s experience as they are exposed to project learning. Children learn to design, plan and executive their ideas with help to bring out their creativity and thoughts about what they think about the world.
We are one of the schools in Malaysia that incorporate project-based learning as part of our curriculum. We are pleased to present this approach as part of our philosophy to bring out the potential of every child being entrusted to us.
